Hey there! I'm Ryan.

I've spent a lot of years bouncing between interests, biology, graphic design, entrepreneurship, screenwriting, psychology, before landing on a BA in Integrated Studies from Northern Kentucky University. These days that curiosity has a clearer direction: cybersecurity and tech, and actually building the skills to back it up instead of just being interested in them.

Right now my day job is inside sales at Cintas, not exactly where I pictured myself ending up. But I've got an MS in Cybersecurity and a CompTIA Security+ certification, and I'm done letting them sit on a shelf. This site is where I'm building the hands-on side to match, one project at a time, home lab work, what breaks, what I learn, what's next, and writing about all of it as I go.
